Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ExpenseAI ("the app"), operated by DJUMP, MB, a company registered in the Republic of Lithuania. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

ExpenseAI is an AI-powered expense tracking application that categorizes natural language expense descriptions into structured financial data. You may use the app for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the app to store, process, or transmit harmful, misleading, or malicious content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the app's functionality
  • Abuse the AI categorization service by submitting excessive or automated requests
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the app for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal financial activity

2. Accounts

You may create an account using email/password, Google, or Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings, which will permanently remove all your expense data, budgets, and profile information.

3. AI-Generated Categorization

Expense categorization, currency detection, and amount extraction performed by ExpenseAI are produced by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the AI-parsed results before they are saved. We do not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated categorizations, and the app provides the ability to edit any parsed result before confirmation.

4. Financial Disclaimer

ExpenseAI is a personal expense tracking tool and does not provide financial advice, tax guidance, or professional accounting services. Budget tracking and spending insights are provided for informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified financial professional for financial planning, tax preparation, or accounting needs. Currency amounts displayed in the app are based on user input and do not reflect real-time exchange rates.

5. Free and Premium Plans

ExpenseAI offers a free tier with limited daily usage (10 expense entries per day, 30-day history, basic categories) and a premium subscription ($2.99/month) with unlimited access and additional features including budget alerts, CSV export, trend charts, and multi-currency conversion.

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all expense data, budget settings, and other content you create within the app. Premium users can export their expense data to CSV at any time. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

7. Intellectual Property

ExpenseAI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DJUMP, MB. The expense data you create through the app belongs to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated categorizations may contain errors. Budget calculations and spending summaries are based on the data you provide and may not reflect your complete financial situation. Always verify expense data and budgets independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DJUMP, MB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to damages caused by incorrect AI categorizations, inaccurate budget calculations, data loss, or reliance on spending insights provided by the app.

10. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your financial and personal data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
